Developed in the province that houses the oldest city in the Philippines, the Province of Cebu. The Mercedes Plantation Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole golf course in a sugarcane plantation.

The golf club is surely a one challenging course filled with water hazards and sand bunkers, some of these traps and hazards are just behind and beside the greens.

Though the course is mostly flat on terrain with big greens, the location of the course which is on the seaside, can be both a blessing or a curse as the strong winds from the sea nearby could easily turn into an extra burden for any golfer should the winds pickup speed.
