Golf & Country Club
This challenging golf course, filled with water hazards and sand bunkers, was designed by famous Filipino golfer Frankie Minosa. Rain or shine, this course is playable because of the computerized irrigation system keeping the fairways in mint condition. The sea nearby is both a plus and a minus as the ocean breeze could easily turn into an extra burden, should the winds pick up.
Facilities
Try-out your golf swing on the driving range and practice putting greens before starting your game. Along the fairway, tee houses are situated for your convenience. Then after your game, freshen up in the locker and shower facilities for men and women. If you are in need of golfing equipment, the pro shop will be happy to provide you with these. If you are hungry, there is a bar and restaurant available as well.

Hello Keith ,
I have played 4 of Cebu’s course. Alta Vista I reccommend and Cebu Country Club.
Mactan is ok and San Remigio is a rugged native maintained course which is best enjoyed walking the 18 as with a cart you may be around in less than 2 hours. There are a few ravines you play over. You can pick up cheap golf balls at the sarisari store by the resort. I looked at Club Filipino also and that seems a class course.
It would not suprise me if when you turn up at Mercedes they let you play the course on your own or if a local member is there to invite you to play. Cebu is very welcoming to tourism.
All the courses I have played are worth playing for they all offer a different experience.
Thanks for the advice Mark. I will be sure to check out some of these courses. I plan to play at Alta Vista as i know a member there.
Hi, is anyone a member at this course willing to take a visitor as a guest? I am coming home to Cebu in September and want to play cebu’s courses. This course looks magnificent!
Thanks
Keith
