Recently announced by the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP), the prestigious golfing event in the country is to be set in the fine month of February, from the 9th to the 12th to be exact. The course chosen for the Open is none other than the beautiful and challenging East Course of the Wack Wack Golf Club.
As the country’s golf national championship, the 96th Philippine Open will definitely entice players of the best caliber to join and play in. With a whopping cash pot of $300,000, it is expected that the lucky champion will bring home a prize worth $70,000.
As another thing to look forward to this exciting week of golf, the NGAP has also announced that the Open will enjoy a live coverage in the Asian Tour’s global television platform. As per the Asian Tour, coverage of the said event can be seen in almost 200 countries worldwide.
