Last Friday we at GolfPH held our first annual tournament at the majestic greens of the Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club. With the perfect weather and the flawless and beautiful greens at Ayala Greenfield made for the perfect day to play golf.

Excitement was in the air, with players seen at the registration as early as 6AM. The fellow golfers greeted each other, shared some laughs, and expressed their excitement of playing Team Scramble.

The smooth-sailing challenge of overcoming the diverse layout of the Ayala Greenfield Golf was matched by the easy-breezy play of the participants. Many showcased their skill with numerous birdies sunk. A highlight was the impressive drive by Mr. Mark Romero, winner of the Longest Drive, who clocked in an outstanding record of 376 yards at Hole 13.

Nothing less can be expected from Ayala Greenfield, which had graciously lent its facilities for the event. Even more so were the sponsors contributions, in which participants were delighted with the wares and services presented. The tournament proper was capped off in the grand Rizal Function room, where players enjoyed a sumptuous feast. Best of all, prizes were given away to lucky members.
