9th Tee-Up for Down in Tagaytay Midlands a Success

Written by: Lito M. | Date Posted: 2012-02-10

A total of 176 satisfied golfers experienced a very unique and relaxing round of golf at the Tagaytay Midlands and Highlands last February 3. The gathering, the 9th Tee-Up for Down Golf Tournament not only allowed participants to enjoy the wonderful offerings of the prestigious golf course, but opened up more opportunities to help down syndrome patients.

The tournament was organized by the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc. (DSAPI), a volunteer-based organization that holds and creates socials and fund-raising events to help support down syndrome patients. It has been noted as well that the Tee-Up for Down golf tournaments have been a popular and important event for the said organization, with proceeds reaching out to deserving individuals and families.

GolfPH supported the DSAPI’s golf endeavor by providing membership gift certificates. Lucky winners of the certificates are Marissa Floirendo and Leo Ibo. For questions or inquiries on DSAPI events, please contact their office via tel nos. +63 2 895-3606 or +63 2 8959642.
