TEE 4 TECH is a call to the community to join Makerspace Manila (www.makerspacemanila.com), a soon-to-rise makerspace in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It is slated to open on the 1st quarter of 2016 and proceeds of this golfing event will go to the enhancement of their space – a venue for hands-on learning, making, and tinkering in a collaborative, STEM-focused environment. Makerspace Manila envisions a place for rapid prototyping, robotics and circuit design, drones, microcontroller coding and programming, digital simulations, fabrication, and other exciting projects. Makerspace Manila will be open to both young and old (as young as 8 years of age) of any technical skill level while catering to manufacturers, service providers, schools, and communities.
The 1st TEE 4 TECH (T4T) Golf Tournament will be on 24th February 2016 at Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club, Calamba, Laguna, one of our favorite golf courses to play at.
The tournament will have a few unique rules and activities that will make the round a bit more exciting. According to the Tournament Chairman Miguel Cervantes, “We’re introducing a few unique tournament perks through maker zones. These are zones in the fairway that will provide your ball / the player certain perks or penalties should you land in them. Like a free drop, or an additional mulligan. So be on the lookout on tournament day!”
Tournament fee is P3,500 inclusive of green fee, caddy fee, giveaway, lunch and a raffle ticket. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. with the sequential tee off at 8:00 a.m. Spots are limited, so make sure that you RSVP right away.
