Oftentimes, the Christmas holiday is overshadowed by busy schedules, shopping and all of the things your kids or friends want to receive. Not to mention the stuff you want. Like Golf stuff at incredibly low sale prices (stay tuned for our holiday gift guide).

Well whatever it is that distracts you this season, GolfPH wanted to show you how special you are by hosting our 3^rd Annual – The Christmas Networking Party on Dec 02, 2015 at the Makati Golf Club Driving Range.

That includes our Members, Subscribers, Viewers, Industry Partners and Guests. If it wasn’t for all of your support, GolfPH wouldn’t be where we are today, and we thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts.

So on to the party…

Our team worked hard for pretty much all of November ironing out all the fine details in the hopes of making sure that this event was perfect. We wanted to offer as much as we could to everyone that came. It was a lot of work, but completely worth it.

On the day of, set up started at 9AM even though the event started at 5PM. If you had been there to see it, you would have seen the excitement and adrenaline we all shared as we waited in anticipation for the first person to walk through those elevator doors to register.

This was our 3rd annual and biggest Christmas event yet. This time around we wanted to increase our invite list.. so we invited more people than usual including our Discount Card holders, Mailing List Subscribers, Industry Partners and VIP’s. The event was held on the third floor of the Makati Golf Club Driving Range and because of the size, we had to cap our RSVP list at only 100 people. For some reason though, 110 people showed up.

It was a night to remember as we started the night off with an office blessing by Victory Church Pastor Christian Dionglay. For those of you that don’t know, we got a new office… yay!

After the office blessing, the event started off with free flowing drinks courtesy of our event drink sponsor Glenmorangie. Thanks guys =)

Due to their generosity, we were able to spoil our golfers with premium single malt whiskey all night long. It was truly a standout part of the evening and surely made the night a lot more fun.

For some of us, we knew that the word “networking” could be intimidating, so an important feature of the night was the activities.  We called on more of our amazing sponsors to help us out and donate a few prizes.

There was a “hit the bucket” game hosted by Honma that gave those demoing the club a challenge. In order to win a prize, you had to use a Honma club and hit the bucket.

Trust me, this wasn’t an easy challenge.

In turn, we also had the King of golf balls brand Titleist host a “hit the target” game. Similar in goal, but challenging in a much different way. Titleist also graciously provided a prize for everyone that could hit the target with one of their clubs.

Our most popular event of the night were the free 10-minute individual lessons provided by one of our partner golf instructors, US PGA Professional, Dan Sais from Esquire Golf Management. He is currently living here in the Philippines and has worked with many Philippine professional tour players. Time with Dan has been described as “invaluable” and “unbelievably helpful!”

There were 6 lanes available all night… but this little boy hogged one all night.

It was also a good opportunity to catch up and see new and familiar faces.

Last but not least, a party aint a party without a raffle.

I personally never win anything, but I also know that having the opportunity to win a prize for free is still just as exciting. 36 people went home as winners through our raffle. Upon registration, each person was given a raffle number. Throughout the night, numbers were drawn and called. Needless to say, some people did miss out by leaving early!
