PHL Superal and Gandionco win Montecillo Cup
Princess Superal and Gio Gandionco proved to be the Philippines’ pride as they bagged a double victory at the Montecillo Junior Golf Club Championship for both the girls and boys Class A division held at the Orchard Golf and Country Club last Friday.
According to Luigi Tabuena, President of the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines, Princess and Gio have brought their A-game and performed well during the entire tournament, showing a world-class play against other junior golfers from other competing Asian Countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and Indonesia.
ICTSI golf team member Superal, scored a total of 291 in 72 holes at the Palmer Course while Gandionco, a Cebu Junior golfer, ended with a 288.
Meanwhile, Superal said that she is happy with her win, finally getting what she missed in the Ladies Open.
