Cagayan de Oro is the capital city of Misamis Oriental in Mindanao, the southern region of the Philippines. The city is the 10th most populous city in the country with a population of over 600,000. Being near the coastlines of Mindanao, Cagayan de Oro is famous for water activities such as whitewater rafting and kayaking.
Three golf courses can be seen in Cagayan de Oro including Camp Evangelista Golf Club, Del Monte Golf Club, and Pueblo De Oro Golf and Country Club. The latter is designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., a famous golf course architect.
