Description

The Cliffs Golf and Beach Club is a 3,450 yard world-class 9 hole golf course. It’s an all weather golf course designed by the International Management Group. This course is a hidden gem in the north. Located inside Thunderbird resorts in San Fernando La Union, the Cliffs deserve recognition at its best. The course not only offers world class fairways and greens, but the scenic view of the South China Sea in every hole is such a breath taking experience.

Most of the holes are structured along the beach shores as they play the role of deep cliff hazards, and is probably where the name “The Cliffs” was derived from. Think of the world renowned Pebble Beach Golf course in California and you get the idea of what this course is all about.

However, don’t be captivated by just the course’s beauty as the cliffs prove to be a tough challenge. Especially when the winds from the sea decide to play with you. How harsh can the winds be? As one member said it, “aiming 45 degrees off your intended target may well be the right play just to make sure your ball lands on the right line.”
