Angtay Golf and Country Club has a 9-hole course which is ideal for practice and improving your skills. It includes a water hazard, sand traps and well maintained greens.

This is a private club, but tourists can play as long as they make reservations beforehand.
How to get there
Angtay Golf is located in the heart of Dumaguete City. 2 minutes from the airport and around 5 minutes from the seaport and downtown area. Dumaguete City is located in Negros Oriental. It is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Manila or about 4 hours by Bus and Ferry from Cebu.
Accommodation
There are various accommodation options in various locations in the city. There’s Bethel Guest House along Rizal Boulevard, Casa de Monteverde in Claytown, Coco Grande Hotel along Hibbard Avenue, and C & L Suites at the corner of Pinili and Perdices. Accommodation rates start around or less than P500 for an economy room to about P1,500 for a suite.
Angtay Golf and Country Club never fails to satisfy the golf enthusiast in me. I always bring my teenage son here because the course has a flat terrain which is ideal for practice. The staff are really friendly and accommodating, too.
