“Inspired by The King”
Arnold Palmer. To some people, the name is just a drink: ½ iced tea, ½ lemonade. To the rest of the world, especially the golfing world, he is the winner of 65 PGA tournaments (95 professional wins), a businessman, a golf club brand, a golf course designer (Forest Hills Golf and Country Club, Orchard Golf and Country Club – The Legacy, and Caliraya Springs Golf to name a few.), and now a clothing line owner (www.arniewear.com).
At the 59th Annual PGA Merchandise show, GolfPH caught a glimpse of the new “golf and lifestyle” apparel line, which is pegged to be launched to the public on February 15, 2012. We are excited because the clothing gives any wearer the feeling and look of sophistication and prestige. It’s the exact look for any golfer on the course or off. The quality of the products we saw were exceptional and we were definitely impressed by the value (prices range from PHP2967 to 4687). Hopefully it doesn’t get delayed because it will NOT disappoint you!
The new line is called Arnie and is inspired by the sophisticated styling of Arnold Palmer himself. He’s been named one of the “25 Coolest Athletes of All Time” and one of “The 75 Best Dressed Men of All Time.” His lifestyle has inspired the clothing line designers who have partnered with him to create a collection that’s clean, classic and cool. The three collections in the new Arnie line are based on Arnold Palmer’s style in the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s. Each collection is defined by cool pocket detailing, collar definition and, of course, implements Arnie’s signature umbrella logo.
