Junior World Champion sets her eyes on Philippine Ladies Crown

Seeking to prove that she has got what it takes, spectacular lady golfer Dottie Ardina aims to win her very first Philippine Ladies Open title at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club this coming January 11. Ardina, having an outstanding collection of awards, and as well being the Junior World Champion for multiple times already, will face a tremendous wall of competitors before even winning the crown.

Organized by the Women’s Golf Association of the Philippines, the 54-hole event to be held at the East Course of the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club will feature not only a large amount of local talent, but international golf players as well.

Ardina will face former champions Cyna Rodriguez and Jayvie Agojo as prime competition for the crown. Her ICTSI teammates Sarah Ababa, Sunshine Baraquel, Andie Unson and Lovelyn Guioguio will also challenge her for the title. The main international rivals are from the fearsome Thailand team, led by Pinrath Loomboonruang, Savitree Thavong and Suthavee Chanachai, among others.

Despite the pool of talents all out to seek the prestigious prize, Ardina remains confident that she’ll perform well. Time can only tell – and as well skill and luck – if the lady golfer can bag home the title that she can consider her personal golf grail.
