GolfPH is a company started by three brothers back in 2007. We are a resource for Golfers all over the Philippines and we create coveted opportunities for so many to play where they want to play and when they want to play.

growing community of members who value the association of GolfPH above all else.
HISTORY:
When my brothers and I first started this company, we did it because of one word…passion.
This is our story.
When we first started golfing in the Philippines, the green fees were pretty expensive (not compared to the rest of the world, but just in general). On top of that, we couldn’t even play at the best courses because we weren’t members.
My brothers and I didn’t have a car, couldn’t find the phone number or website of the public course we were going to play at and being in the US for so long made our Tagalog pretty rusty at best.
First, we got into a taxi from our condo that we were renting on Paseo near Greenbelt 1. The taxi smelled like gas. The driver took us on probably the longest way possible to the course, which definitely gave me anxiety. What was supposed to be a 25-minute trip turned into an hour!
Then when we arrived, we checked in and ended up having to wait ANOTHER hour because of the line since we didn’t have a tee time reservation. Public courses are so packed on Saturdays!
Later, we had problem catching a taxi back since the course was set pretty deep in from the main road. We even had to carry our bags out what felt like 2 kilometers down a dirt gravel road. I can still remember the crunching and the heat. We were sweaty, tired, upset, and felt like we just got conned. Honestly, we didn’t really want to golf anymore in the Philippines.
I was seriously so miserable and I remember that feeling of frustration. What started out as a pleasant 4-hour (including transportation) activity with 18 holes of golf, turned into a 7-hour excursion that included pain.
It is for all those things that we went through that we set up GolfPH for.
We wanted:

- A contact person to call when lost

- Playing access to the best courses
- And no more taking a taxi to go play golf!
The only stressful part about golfing should be the game itself!
That’s what GolfPH is about. It’s about providing you with the best golf experience in the Philippines. This country has some of the most beautiful courses in the world and you deserve to play at the best courses here.
It was because of our passion for the game and everything that comes with it that created this idea to form an association of golfers who could come together and share one common interest.
One thing that we have always known is that golf is not just about the game. It’s about the community, the passion, the “air”, the openness, and the thrill that you get playing a game against yourself. It took me awhile to understand this since it can be a frustrating game at times, but when you do grasp this concept, there is nothing greater than the feel of the club in your hand connecting with the ball off the tee. Then, seeing that ball lift and fly like magic, landing perfectly in the center of the fairway-- It’s just beautiful.
On top of that, we couldn’t find the phone numbers or websites of the majority of the courses that we wanted to play at, so we solved the need by offering our members and concierge golfer’s benefits that are undeniably important for the life of any golfer living in the Philippines.
