There are 2 golf courses at Manila Southwoods Gold and Country Club: The Legends and the Masters. It is located in Carmona, Cavite, a province lying South of Manila and is an hour away from Manila. The 2 courses are both Jack Nicklaus signature courses. Both offer different challenges for all levels of golfers. It is an exclusive club and guests should be accompanied by club members. USA’s Gold Digest named Manila Southwoods Gold and Country Club as the Best Golf Club in the Philippines for the years 1999 and 2000. The Legends course has 18 holes and is designed for high handicappers. The Masters course has 15 holes and is fairly challenging because of the lengths and the shapes of the fairways as well as the well-designed areas of bunkers and water traps. The 10th Hole of Masters course is one of the Best 500 Holes in the World as listed by Golf Magazine in 1999. The two championship courses are host to a number of prestigious international tournaments. Some of them are the Philippine Open in 1994 (one of the longest running golf tournament in the whole world) Amateur Golf Team Championships in 1996.
