Breathtaking is the best word to describe this golf course, not only because the view of the Taal Volcano is so mesmerizing, but also because this is probably the most challenging mountain course in the whole Philippines. With every shot you make playing down the mountain, you risk your ball falling hundreds of feet into an abyss. When you reach the bottom of the front nine, a cable car will bring you back up for the back nine. If you’re up for the fun challenge, then playing here is truly a unique golfing experience you shouldn’t miss.
Facilities
Practice your swing in the driving range before you start your game. Along the fairway are three tee houses where food and drinks are available. Likewise, the golf club has restaurants and a bar.
How To Play at Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club in Cavite
This is a private club, so guests must be accompanied by a member. Due to the popularity of this course, reservations must be made especially if you wish to play on weekends and holidays.
How To Get There
Located in Tagaytay City, the club is a 1 and a half hours away from Metro Manila by car via the South Super Highway, or 1 hour away via the Sta. Rosa access road.
Accommodations
Members and their guests can take advantage of the deluxe and suite accommodations the club offers. Otherwise, Club Estancia, Taal Vista Hotel, and Days Hotel, are highly recommended.
